Internet Grows to More Than 225 Million Domains

vrs_dnib_chart1_large.pngEvery quarter, Verisign shares Internet growth data with the industry in the form of our Domain Name Industry Brief. Today we released the data from the fourth quarter of 2011 that showed the Internet continued to grow to more than 225 million domains names, up nearly 6 million from the third quarter of 2011, an increase of 5.9 million domain names (click on the chart to the left for more detail). That’s significant growth!
